Unionville is a historic little village nestled within Markham, Ontario. Every day the streets fill up with locals and tourists who love to spend time outdoors, go for walks, and visit the beautiful views and landmarks. There are so many different areas in the village: century homes, the Stiver Mill and Farmer’s Market, the old Unionville train station, Toogood Pond and many walking trails and wooded paths. This is what makes Unionville a favourite spot for many photographers! I personally love shooting here because there is sooo much to work with, and I get inspired and try new things every time. Some sessions start out by the train tracks, others are a total walk around the Pond. There are actually so many options, and no two sessions are the same.
In the heart of the village, the picturesque shoppes and boutiques line up along Main Street, which is where I captured Sabrina and Cosmo’s engagement photos at the end of winter. We were so happy to have beautiful weather as the forecast was so unpredictable around that time. As with all good mornings, we started out our session with coffees. Then, we enjoyed a nice stroll down the Unionville Main St strip.
Here are some of my favourites from our session!
