We had such a great experience flying out of Gatwick!
On our way to King’s Cross, we enjoyed the lovely scenery of residential as well as industrial areas. I noticed a lot of structures with graffiti and run-down material. So much character in it all.
At St. Pancras, I had to climb the steps to see this beautiful view of the building. As if the building itself wasn’t intriguing enough, the romantic sign in front of a clock read “I want my time with you”.
St. Pancras station was filled with a diversity of people who were travelling internationally. I personally enjoyed the atmosphere and took interest in how different everything was to home in Toronto. One thing that was the same – the lineup to the women’s washroom.
This particular photo makes me think… Where are each of these people going? What is their story?
Outside of King’s Cross – figuring out how to get a black cab. Tried not to look like a fish out of water.
For those who know me, know I LOVE Harry Potter. So yes, I’ll be looking into booking my tickets.
So, we had a straight flight – 6h 33m. We are used to airlines that provide meals incl, and our flight turned out to be a beverage + pretzel type flight… So we had to stop for some Prime Burger – our first GBP spent! So yummy.
Growing in our courtyard garden.
Our balcony view overlooking that little garden <3
