Photographing prom portraits for Micayla and her friends at Deer Creek Golf Course in Ajax was an incredibly fun and rewarding experience! The lush greenery and pristine landscaping provided an incredible backdrop for capturing the beauty and excitement of their prom experience. As a photographer, being able to work in such a beautiful environment was inspiring, and it lead to getting a more creative and dynamic collection of portraits.
One of the most enjoyable aspects of photographing prom portraits at a golf course was the sense of fun and playfulness that was infused into the session. The open spaces allowed for more playful and spontaneous poses, such as jumping and twirling, which captured the youthful and carefree spirit of the group. The relaxed and natural setting also helped to put the young adults at ease, allowing them to actually have fun and enjoy their day, resulting in more authentic and engaging portraits.
Additionally, having their session outdoors at Deer Creek provided a unique and unexpected setting for prom portraits, which allowed for a more personalized and memorable experience. Rather than opting for a more traditional indoor or studio setting, the grounds of the golf course provided an opportunity for Micayla and her friends to create one-of-a-kind portraits that reflect their personalities and interests.
