At Jesseka Melanie Photography, we truly care about the health and safety of our photographers, clients, our families and the communities we serve. To prevent the spread of COVID-19, enhanced measures will be taken to assure your safety and ours.
We will continue to practice in compliance with the recommended public health measures, as guided by The Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC).
Jesseka and associates will be implementing the following enhanced protocols.
We will:
Booking and Scheduling
- Book sessions in advance to allow ample time for the cleaning/disinfecting of any equipment or items used for sessions
- Encourage outdoor sessions as much as possible
Prior to In-Person Business
- Send out a COVID-19 Health Screening Questionnaire via email within 24 hours of the scheduled booking and also assess our own health
- If either party presents any symptoms of illness, this will result in rescheduling the session to a future available date, no earlier than 14 days after symptoms have stopped.
- If the session or event must be rescheduled due to illness, the initial Retainer will be applied to the first reschedule date with no penalty. Any requests to reschedule after that may incur fees or a new Retainer may be required
- Keep a contact list of all individuals participating in photography sessions
During In-Person Business
- Practice physical distancing of 2 metres (6 feet) when photographing you, and opt to use longer lenses to maintain distance
- Wash hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds and/or use hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol before photo sessions or events and conducting in-person business. Hand sanitizer will also be used as needed throughout the session or event
- Wear face coverings or masks while photographing and conducting in-person business
Correspondence/Communication
- Encourage consultations to be via phone or Zoom/FaceTime, when feasible
- Send all forms, questionnaires, agreements, etc. through email and/or personal client portals
- Use e-transfers to receive payments
- Deliver photos for viewing and downloading via online client galleries
We will ask you, as a client, to:
Prior to In-Person Engagements
- Contact us if, and as soon as, you notice any symptoms of illness, especially if within 14 days of scheduled session or event
- Notify us if you have travelled internationally, especially if within 14 days of scheduled session or event
- Notify us if you have been in contact with anyone diagnosed with COVID-19 or experiencing symptoms of COVID-19
- Wash hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds and/or use hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol before your scheduled session or event.
- Pack with you hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes for use before, during and after session or event
During In-Person Engagements
- Maintain physical distancing from your photographer and anyone who is not within your group
