Wishing you all a Happy Thanksgiving! As I sit here editing after a long weekend full of photographing, I’m thankful for the opportunities I’ve had all year – meeting new people, working and networking with so many other creatives, and the ability to spend time working on my craft (my passion!). This year has given me so much realization and appreciation for who I am as a photographer. Although there are many challenges in working independently, it’s refreshing when you start to find yourself. I’m a long ways away from where I want to be but I’m learning to love the journey. I’m thankful for my family and friends, the people in my life who support me and my work, and my most amazing couples and families that I am so honoured to photograph throughout the years.
Most of all, I’m thankful for my two little boys who make adorable arts and crafts for me every year like this turkey below, and my amazing husband who made the best mashed potatoes for me this weekend.
